Food tastes great. Meat was tender, not chewy. But good food takes time. Even on a Thursday night we had to wait 10 mins for a table. Food also took longer to arrive since it's made fresh. Restaurant was really hot! Even with fans I was sweating. Spicy food also makes people feel hot.

Always get the red carpet treatment here! The owner & his staff are so personable and remember our order every time. They hands down have the best ginger tea, naan & butter chicken in the triangle!!

You'd be hard pressed to find a better restaurant specializing in this cuisine. We haven't. The food looks and tastes homemade and very fresh. You can order any dish from very mild to raging hot (1-7 scale). It is a vegetarian and vegan paradise. The staff is very welcoming and patient! And you get a free bottomless cup of ginger tea with any meal. BTW... it was recommended to us by friends from Nepal. It is their go-to family restaurant. And it is VERY reasonable withers being very shareable.

Always a great experience here! The service is consistently excellent, and the food is always warm and delicious. The naan bread is really good, and the portions are very generous. Highly recommend!

It’s been a while since I had Nepali food so I was stoked to see that there’s a small, family-owned restaurant here in Cary, NC. Himalayan Nepali Cuisine is located in a little strip so there is plenty of room for parking and I love how there’s a Tibetan/Himalayan gift shop right next door! Right when we walked in, we were seated and served some warm sweet ginger tea and papad which is a thin/crispy Nepali flatbread-cracker. We ordered the following: Chicken Momo Nepali Chicken Curry Garlic Naan Everything was delicious! The chicken filling inside the momo was yummy and the curry sauce was slightly tangy and spicy from the tomatoes and chilis. The only thing I wish was different was the temperature- the momo’s were a little lukewarm so I wish it was higher in temperature but this was still a solid dish! The Nepali Chicken Curry also had that spicy/tangy flavor from all the ingredients and spices. The chicken pieces were juicy, tender, and went well with the rice and garlic naan. Speaking of naan, this was my sister and I’s favorite. The naan was crispy on the outside with a nice chewiness on the inside. And the garlic seasoning on top was just *chef’s kiss*.
